Celebrating our 25th Season of Hockey Development
Northwestern Hockey Sports Camp (NHSC) began in 1988 with a one week camp in Ignace, Ontario. Since 1988, Northwestern has responded to the need for professional level hockey development for players of all ages and skill levels. Our development ladder begins with our "Initiation Phase" camps which include Learn to Skate, Learn to Play and the Right Start Hockey Skills Camps. The progression continues to intermediary programming with the "Competitive Phase" camps and moves onward to the "High Performance Phase" camps for players aspiring to take their game to the next level. Our range of programming includes: all day camps, pre-season camps, in-season academies, specialty camps, Outreach camps and dedicated female camps.
IGNACE CAMPS - JULY
Ignace, situated in the heart of Northwestern Ontario, has been the home for our July camps since 1988. Ignace offers an abundance of lakes and forest area for nature enthusiasts and for those looking for a family getaway.
- 3 weeks of FULL day camps! Each week offers age and skill specific camps.
- Residence option availalbe to players 9 years and older (July 9-13, July 16-20)
- Hot lunches daily served on site

WINNIPEG CAMPS - AUG. & SEPT.
All Winnipeg camps are held at the MTS Iceplex, the beautiful 4 arena multiplex that serves as the training facility for the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club.
- FULL day camps each week in August
- HOT lunch served daily to summer day camp participants
- variety of camps for all skill levels; beginner - house league - AA - AAA - Junior
- Pre-evaluation / tyrout preparation camps, on ice only
- Dedicated female programming
